Dear Dr Jackson,
I recently had a very close and intimate meeting with a man with whom I have worked for some years. Although we have never openly admitted our feelings for each other, I have known for some time that there is an unspoken attraction between us, but there has never been the right time to speak to him about my feelings.
I finally managed to arrange matters so that he and I were alone together, although it was not an easy matter. It took considerable planning and I also have to say that I had a pretty difficult time pretending to be trapped in a faulty tube although my uniform ‘ unfortunately’ got rather torn in several strategic places! Still, I did manage to get him to actually hold me.
So, dear Dr Jackson, now I have got him to admit that we were pretty close, how do I make him take that all-important step and ask me out?

You may be the best in SHADO, but as far as I am concerned, no-one gets that close to him. Not even me. I have arranged you transfer back to Moonbase with immediate effect. I didn’t buy him those expensive cigars just out of the goodness of my heart you know. You’re not the only one to fancy those blue eyes.

I have heard from other recruits that you are indeed shados best sonar operator and personally I think a good friendship is a start so try developing that more first. –
I read your comment in this months herald that was available for us newbies in shado to read in the training centre and thought it might be a good idea for you to ask some of your friends and colleagues on moonbase.
If you can find a female colleague to ask that isn’t also interested.
I would not ask Col Lake as even us recruits heard that Col Lake really wants him for herself. When single I might have entertained thoughts along those lines myself.-just thoughts as he really does seem to be unobtainable if I believe the rumours. I’m not trying to usurp Dr Jackson but hope this helps. I Think you better avoid Col Freeman when he next visits moonbase if possible.
