Here we have the SHADO jeep. There is no commercially-available kit of this vehic;e. so I scratch-built the model using the running gear from Tamiya 1/24 scale Mini kits. As can be seen, the model features operating gullwing doors and took just over a year to build.

Superb. To build from scratch takes not only patience and time, but real commitment. Any chance you could give us a more detailed run-down of the process? I am sure that all model makers would be interested, as well as those readers who have only seen the finished version and have little idea of the hours of work that go into creating such an accurate model.
